A multidisciplinary team of eight university-based Principal Investigators provides intellectual leadership in shaping strategic directions, identifying projects, and supporting project development and implementation in the areas of research, evaluation, monitoring, capacity building and knowledge exchange. Depending on expertise, interest and availability, Principal Investigators also contribute to the conceptualization, design, interpretation and communication of specific project results.
This team is linked to a Canadian network of Investigators, Affiliates and Students from universities and institutions in Ontario, across Canada and in other countries.
OTRU is home to some 30 full-time researchers, including scientists and research associates at the PhD level who act as our project leads. Staff in Toronto and Waterloo coordinate OTRU’s activities and carry out our research, evaluation, training and dissemination projects.
