OTRU Researchers
OTRU researchers published a study using concept mapping to examine the perspectives of people who smoked menthol cigarettes prior to the menthol tobacco ban in Ontario.

Hot Topics
Pisinger and colleagues found that studies that had industry funding were more likely to find no harmful effects of e-cigarettes on health. Willis and colleagues found that e-cigarette use was associated with asthma and COPD among both nonsmokers and smokers. A cross-sectional study of German adolescent found that almost 40% of youth were exposed to e-cigarette advertising with greater use among those who were exposed. Miech et al. published new data from the large Monitoring the Future monitoring survey in the US that found dramatic increases in the rates of use of e-cigarettes.
