Hot Topics
Another study added further evidence that use of e-cigarettes predicted future cigarette use among youth. Healthcare and productivity costs of smoking were calculated to be 1.4 trillion dollars US in 2012. Past year cigarette use among Ontario students fell to 7% in 2017, down from 28% in 1999. Past year use of e-cigarettes among students remained stable at 10%.
