Hot Topics
David Levy and others, including Canadian Researchers David Hammond and Geoff Fong, suggest that the population effect of e-cigarettes on smoking initiation has been negligible. Inoue-Choi and colleagues in the American Journal of Preventive Medicine find that while non-daily smokers do have less risk of dying than daily cigarettes smokers those risks are still substantially larger than non-smokers. Scott and other Australian colleagues find evidence of a causal relationship between tobacco and schizophrenia.
