Hot Topics
Another cohort study of Canadian youth found that e-cigarette users were more likely to try smoking and to escalate to daily smoking. A study funded by Health Canada found that smoking kills 45,000 people a year in Canada. Helfer argues that it may be time to ban combustible tobacco because of the availability of other nicotine products.
