E-Cigarettes—Health Effects
Tang and colleague conducted a mice study that found the first direct evidence of cancer from e-cigarette vapour.

Gotts and colleagues review the literature on respiratory effects of e-cigarettes and find significant evidence of harm. They conclude that there is insufficient evidence to conclude that the respiratory effects of e-cigarettes are less than that of cigarettes.

Tobacco Industry—Litter
Researchers in California examined trash at local high schools. They found significant waste from e-cigarette products as well as the expected tobacco garbage.
